Bochum's coach calls Hashemian national team nomination "an honor"

Berlin, Aug 14, IRNA -- The head coach of German first division team Vfl Bochum called the nomination of striker Vahid Hashemian for Iran's friendly match against Ukraine on August 21 in Kiev "an honor", the club's online site was quoted as saying.  "The invitation is an honor for the player (Hashemian) as well as for Vfl Bochum," said coach Peter Neururer.
Hashemian who joined promoted Bochum from Hamburg last year, scored the third goal in his team's 3-1 win at Nuremberg last Saturday.
